Dia:Beacon é um museu de arte contemporânea que fica na pequena cidade de Beacon, na beira do rio Hudson, a menos de duas horas de trem de Nova Iorque. The huge warehouse that used to be a biscuit factory, now hosts works of important artists such as Richard Serra, Sol LeWitt, Louise Bourgeois, Bruce Nauman and many others.
One of the things that makes Dia:Beacon special is that it can display works that would not fit in regular spaces because of their scale or character.
Besides that, the amount of natural light that comes in through the big windows and some spots in the ceiling, can change completelly the perception about a work that is seen on a shiny or on a cloudy day.
