Wanderlust: Griffith Park + Getty Center

Griffith Park e Getty Center são dois passeios do tipo "tem que fazer" em Los Angeles.

Não dá para negar, todo mundo quer ver o famoso letreiro Hollywood ao vivo e é do Griffith Park que se tem a melhor vista. O parque é muito grande, dá para subir de carro e para os mais animados fazendo uma bela caminhada. Dizem que uma das opções mais legais também é fazer um passeio a cavalo e chegar pertinho das letras gigantes.

Depois de almoçar no Umami, com um sol de rachar e sem roupas apropriadas, caminhar realmente não era nossa melhor opção. Pegamos um táxi.

Lá em cima, no final do parque fica o observatório, com uma vista 360 graus para a cidade e um pequeno museu. Tudo de graça. Vale a pena.

No dia seguinte seguimos para o Getty Center com o Gustavo primo da Pati e seus filhinhos.

O Getty é um museu com um acervo bem legal, exposições interessantes (adoramos a do Herb Ritts!) e um jardim de cair o queixo! E adivinha, de novo, tudo de graça!

Getty Center and Griffith Park are two of the places "you must go" in Los Angeles.

We can't deny it, everyone wants to see the famous Hollywood sign and it is Griffith Park that has the best view. The park is huge, you can go by car or walking - for the excited ones. Also, one of the coolest options is taking a horseback ride and get really close to the giant letters.

After having lunch at Umami, with a blazing sun and without appropriate clothing, walking was not really our best option. We took a taxi.

Up there, at the end of the park is the observatory, with a 360 degree view of the city and a small museum. All for free. It's worth it.

The next day we went to the Getty Center with Gustavo, Pati's cousin and his little kids.

Getty is a museum with a great collection, interesting exhibits (we loved the Herb Ritts one!) and an amazing garden! And guess what, again, all for free!
