Merci é o tipo de loja que tem que ir e ver com os próprios olhos. Com conceito totalmente diferente do que se vê por aí, uma pequena porta esconde um pátio interno - que quando fomos estava todo decorado de natal! - e um loft de três andares. De um lado um café sebo com livros a partir de 2 euros e do outro uma floricultura. Caminhando pelos ambientes do loft, você encontra roupas, peças vintage, móveis, objetos para casa, acessórios... cada cantinho esconde um produto mais incrível que outro.
Criada pelo casal Marie France e Bernard Cohen, fundadores da marca francesa infantil Bonpoint, a Merci é mais que uma loja conceito, afinal, parte das vendas é revertida em doações. Isso quer dizer que além de comprar peças diferentes e legais, você ainda vai estar ajudando alguma instituição de caridade.
Com um espaço para exposições, pode ter certeza, não importa quantas vezes você visitar a loja, provavelmente ela estará diferente!
Cada peça espalhada pela loja parece que foi deixada alí por acaso, corners de marcas bacanas, no sub-solo um restaurante super concorrido. É realmente uma experiência. Chegamos já tarde na loja mas deu para ver um pouquinho de tudo e ainda sentar, tomar um café e um suco no charmoso sebo.
Merci is the kind of place you have to go and see with your own eyes. The concept is different from everything we have seen around. A little door hides a courtyard - that was all decorated for christmas when we were there! - and a three-story loft. At one side a cafe and second-hand bookstore and at the other side a flower shop. Walking through the rooms of the loft, you will find clothes, vintage items, furniture, accessories... every single corner hides an amazing product.
Made by the couple Marie France and Bernard Cohen, founders of the french brand, Bonpoint, Merci is more than a concept store, part of the sales is reverted in donations. This means that in addition to buying different and cool pieces, you will be helping some charity.
With an exhibition space, you can be sure that no matter how many times you visit the store, it will probably be different than it was!
Products spread around the store that may look they were randomly left there, cool brands and a super crowded restaurant. We got at the store late but we could see a little bit of everything and we even sit and had coffee and a juice in the charming cafe/bookstore.
