Em um sábado de manhã resolvemos conhecer outro restaurante do Keith McNally, o The Odeon. Além da ótima experiência que tivemos no Balthazar e no Pastis, ficamos curiosas para conhecer e passear em Tribeca, bairro que ainda não havíamos explorado.
O Odeon fica em uma esquina da Broadway, tem ambiente agradável, mas o legal mesmo é sentar do lado de fora. E foi o que fizemos, passamos algumas horas sentadas, vendo o movimento do fim de semana (vimos passar por ali o estilista Alexander Wang!), comemos um excelente e inusitado hambúrguer de atum com batatinhas fritas crocantes e secas, do jeito que só um restaurante realmente bom sabe fazer.
No mesmo lugar há mais de 25 anos, dizem que é difícil imaginar Tribeca sem o Odeon. O restaurante já é um clássico de Nova Iorque, mesmo que menos famoso que seus irmãos Balthazar e Pastis.
Além de ter boa comida, a ida ao Odeon vale também pelo passeio.
On a saturday morning we decided to go to another Keith McNally's restaurant, The Odeon. Besides the great experience we had at Balthazar and Pastis, we were curious to visit and take a walk through Tribeca, a neighborhood that we had not yet explored.
The Odeon is located in a Broadway corner, it has a pleasant atmosphere, but it is nicer to sit outside. And that's exactly what we did, we spent a few hours sitting outside, watching people enjoy their weekend (and we even saw the designer Alexander Wang!), eating an excellent and unusual tuna burger with crispy french fries, the kind of fries only a really good restaurant can make.

At the same place for more than 25 years, people say it is hard to imagine Tribeca without Odeon. The restaurant is already a New York City classic, even though less famous than its fellows, Balthazar and Pastis.
